The Last Episode of Buzzcocks Made Me Very Happy.

Oh crap it's cold outside! I had to wrap a scarf around my face this morning so I could breathe. Ugh, it's 7 and that makes me sad cause I have to go to bed soon. I didn't sleep very well last night, our neighbour left his truck on all night long and it's right outside my room and loud. Kudos to him for not just hoping it would magically start like so many others did this morning (attention: staff of Good Earth), but yeah that was annoying. I'm pretty good at sleep through noise (baby crying? no problem) but I just couldn't do it at 12:48am.

Sigh, Amyna came back today and should be back working tomorrow so that will be good to have another person around. Sooooo glad to let someone else deal with mornings for a little while. I sort of hope it's horrible. It will be a time of learning and understanding for them. My original cutie (he's a bit old for me, but I still like to drool over him a bit when he comes in) was really nice this morning. I didn't complain once and I think he could still tell that things sucked. I chose not to care for the most part. I was just to tired and still feeling lousy, so I did what little I could about the food chick not showing up (texted me to say she'd be an hour late cause of her car freezing, then did not show up at all, or call, or answer her phone), and no one having come in at all yesterday to do prep, or letting me know, and therefore there being no food, and no possibility of me preparing food last minute, AND of half the coffee makers not working for mysterious reasons (which by the end of the day we determined likely had something to do with one of them constantly dripping water, we don't know why THAT was happening, but it's likely the reason the whole machine shut down). I saw my super omg cutie walk by today, so I know he's back from wherever he was last week, but he had a travel mug when he came in, and he didn't come by to get any coffee so I was sad, but there's always tomorrow! The customer lady who loves Ken? (I feel like I shouldn't use her real name...) She decided late last week that she's over Ken, she's made him uncomfortable enough and so she's going to wean herself off of him (that's a gross image...). She and her coffee buddy today decided that they're going to help me get my cutie! They've never seen him, just have a vague description from me (when I describe him, it tends to not sound overly attractive, so I try to stay a little vague). Is this a good idea? Or something likely to lead to an arrest or restraining order? They've never come in at the same time so it's unlikely she'd be able to frighten him too much, and it's fun to have someone else to swoon to, so I'm okay with it for the moment.

OK! Food. Then, IT crowd.
